We met Kim and Gord just after purchasing a property for investment purposes. Right after buying it, we regretted our decision. Being Landlords was not something that we were cut out to be. The thought of dealing with repairs and tenants was too stressful. We were very concerned about selling the property right after buying it and losing money. However after talking to Gord, we agreed that we would be better off investing our money in a property we could live in and raise our daughter in. Now that my husband and I are settled in our new home, I wanted to take a minute to let you know what a pleasant experience it was for us in purchasing our 1st home. We got to know Gord Karpinsky though my Aunt & Uncle, whom he sold their home for, and though my Sister & Brother-In-Law, for whom he found their 1st home. While the thought of buying a new home can be daunting enough, looking for one is overwhelming. Gord took the time to get to know what we wanted and suggested features we hadn't thought of-it's to his credit we have the home we have and not just a box with a door. The house hunting itself was a lot of fun; we were constantly laughing and had a great time. What I appreciated most was that Gord knew, through conversations, that my husband is quick on making decisions, while I need time to mull them over. When we found something we both liked, my husband was ready to sign on the dotted line immediately, however, I needed a little more time to think about it, so Gord, being the professional that he is and keeping in mind one of us was a procrastinator, advised we sleep on it-I got my time and my husband didn't have to wait quite so long until we made our decision. Finding a new home is always a stressful time but having just moved to Canada we thought we were in for a rough ride. That was until we met Gord. We provided Gord with the criteria required for our new home. He offered excellent advice about the housing market and pointed out great locations on the up and coming. I cannot say enough about Gord & Kim. In a dead market, they were able to sell my house in just one week! I listed my home with them in July 2025 and from the very beginning, their teamwork and expertise were evident!
Gord & Kim came to my home together - Gord walked me through comparable listings and explained what he realistically believed my home would sell for, while Kim did a walk through and showed me how to rearrange my furniture to create a more open welcoming space. She also gave me clear advise on what to remove to best showcase my home.
